As a corporate associate in the Palo Alto office of technology and business law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Ben worked on numerous initial public offerings (IPOs) and with both entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in equity financings. Ben then served as Director of Competitive Intelligence for webMethods (Nasdaq: WEBM), where he analyzed industry sectors, emerging standards, as well as the company’s market competitors in order to present strategic recommendations to the company’s senior management team and to write analyses for over 1,100 employees worldwide.

He is the author of two books and a collection of vignettes.
